The Great Southern Hotel Sydney is on George Street in Haymarket, beside Chinatown, about 400 metres from Central Station. The Capitol Theatre is about 240 metres away, and the heritage building dates back to 1854.
The Great Southern Hotel Melbourne is at 44 Spencer Street, just across the road from Southern Cross Station, about a 3-minute walk. The hotel is inside the free tram zone, and Marvel Stadium is about 750 metres away.
